Real Women Saffron and Ashlee are now half way through F45 Port Stephens’ 8-week challenge and share below how it’s going.


Before I started this challenge, I always found myself saying “I don’t enjoy exercise”… and I really didn’t, until now. I really feel I have found the perfect solution to turning the chore of exercise into something I enjoy. I’d be lying if I said I look forward to exercise, but I certainly don’t find it a chore anymore.

They say it takes 28 days to develop a new habit and just over four weeks into this challenge, I do believe the habit of regular exercise is now formed! In fact, I think I’d feel a bit guilty now if I didn’t attend classes at least three times a week. For the last three weeks, I’ve been attending four times a week. It’s easy to slot the sessions into the day as they are just 45 minutes long and there are a few sessions a day to choose from.

I definitely feel stronger, particularly in the upper body and legs, and mentally I feel ready to take on the world! I am looking forward to completing the challenge and then continuing on my fitness journey with F45.


We are officially half way!
I did a wine tour on the weekend, which was planned months ago and I was really looking forward to it so I didn’t let the challenge stop me having a great day and eating and drinking way to much!
However, I got up Monday morning and jumped straight back into it. One bad day does not ruin  a week!
I am feeling amazing and getting dressed up on the weekend (for the wine tour) I could see the changes in my body! I have already completely lost all my baby weight so my goal now is to tone up and start gaining more muscle.
Bring on the next 4 weeks!!!
